Podcast and dialogue recording
Four dynamic mics at a table, headphones for everyone and an engineer behind glass keeping levels steady while you run the conversation.

Podcasters, editorial teams and companies that want an episode without home-room echo or uneven remote quality come to Nikausync in Amsterdam. We focus on two to four voices at one table; solo with a remote guest works if we agree upfront how you connect.
After recording we can do light editing: trim silences, cut obvious flubs and export in your podcast format. Music, jingles and rights are your responsibility — read podcast and music rights for what licences and collecting societies mean in practice, without us giving legal advice.
How it works
Brief
Duration, speaker count, target format (WAV, MP3, loudness goal). Quote within 2 business days; 30% deposit on confirmation.
Layout
Mic height, pop filters, headphone mix and a test round so everyone hears themselves without shouting.
Record
Conversation in one or several takes; engineer marks timecodes on restarts for editing.
Edit and export
Light edit or deeper work at €65 per editing hour; delivery by download. Archive 24 months.
Table layout and room
Our podcast table sits in a treated zone — no live drums in the background. Up to four participants sit comfortably with boom mics; the engineer works from the control room behind glass so you keep eye contact without someone bumping mics by walking through frame.
The building has 3 spaces; on busy days we only pair podcast with band work if the schedule allows. Ask contact for availability. Hours: Monday–Friday 10:00–22:00, Saturday 11:00–18:00, closed Sunday. Sessions outside these hours on request.
Sound and tech
We use dynamic mics that cope better with table rumble and HVAC than many condensers — suited to speech. Each voice on its own track; optional stereo mix for quick preview. Levels are set conservatively so laughter or surprises do not clip.
Remote guests on Zoom, Riverside or similar can be captured on a separate track if you run the software on your laptop; we record the output. Test the link at home before the session — it saves studio minutes.
Who it fits
Independent podcasters, marketing teams doing Q&A series, non-profits with interview runs, teachers recording classroom discussions — as long as it is conversation-led and fits two to four hour blocks. Fiction with many roles is possible but theatrical pacing may need more edit; share the script ahead.
Minimum participant age 16 unless it is a youth show with parental consent. Corporate recordings fall under privacy policy and possibly data processing agreement if you have us process guests personal data.
Editing and turnaround
The Half day incl. light edit package covers recording plus basic edit: shorten silences, remove clear misstarts, one export. Deeper work (music under beds, multiple segments, intro/outro) is billed at €65 per editing hour incl. VAT. Allow 2 business days for edit after busy periods unless we agree rush.
2 revision rounds on edits we perform, within reasonable scope — not a full rewrite of the conversation. See terms for limits. Prefer to cut yourself? You always get raw multitrack WAVs.
Podcast rates
All amounts are consumer prices incl. 21% VAT. Business invoicing with 14-day terms available.
| Package | Incl. VAT |
|---|---|
| Session 2 h, 2 voices | €165 |
| Half day incl. light edit | €310 |
| Editing hour (extra) | €65 |
Extra speaker or longer session? We adjust in your quote — no surprises on the day. Cancel free up to 7 days ahead.
Delivery formats
Default delivery is 24-bit / 48 kHz WAV per speaker plus MP3 or WAV stereo mix if you specify a loudness target (e.g. -16 LUFS for podcast platforms — you confirm the target). Chapter markers in metadata only if you supply timecodes.
Files via secure link; your SSD welcome. Storage 24 months then deletion per privacy policy. You keep backups. More on music and intros: music rights guide.
What we do not cover
No distribution to Spotify or Apple Podcasts, no cover art, no transcription unless you use editing hours for it, and no legal advice on guest releases — we can discuss standard consent templates your lawyer reviews. Music licences are yours or your producer.
Band recording and vocal recording are separate services with their own rates. General questions: FAQ; articles in guides.

FAQ
Can we bring video?
We focus on audio. Simple tripod video is fine if it does not disturb the recording; no lighting or camera crew from us.
How does intro music work?
You supply licensed music. Unsure about rights? Read our guide and check with the rights holder.
Food and drinks?
Coffee, tea and water yes; catering is yours. Avoid crinkly wrappers and glass bottles on the table while recording.
Multiple episodes same day?
Yes if you book a half day or multiple sessions. Plan breaks — tired voices show up in the waveform.
What if a guest is late?
Studio time runs from your booking. We can call them; extension at €65 editing hour or an extra booked block — ask upfront in your quote.
