1. Scope
This statement applies to the website nikausync.click, operated by Nikausync B.V. in Amsterdam. It presents our recording studio, services such as vocal recording and podcast recording, and booking via contact.
The physical studio at Grote Bickersstraat 74 is partly covered by different rules; see «Physical access» below.
2. Our commitment
Nikausync wants everyone to find rates, process and legal information without unnecessary barriers. We work on accessible HTML, clear headings, sufficient contrast and keyboard use where the site supports it. We follow developments under the European Accessibility Act and update the site when needed.
3. Standard and review date
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as a guideline for pages we publish ourselves. This statement was prepared on 15 October 2026 based on internal review and user feedback. We review it at least yearly or after major site changes.
4. Measures on the website
- Logical heading structure and descriptive titles on pages such as privacy policy and FAQ.
- Alternative text on studio images without hiding essential information only in pictures.
- Forms on contact with labels and errors screen readers can announce.
- Skip link and focus styles to bypass the menu with the keyboard.
- Language switch between Dutch and English without automatic redirect overriding your choice.
- No autoplay audio on marketing pages; you hear recordings in the studio or in agreed previews.
5. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts may not fully meet AA yet:
- Some decorative animations may lack a reduced-motion variant; we limit motion in CSS where we can.
- External map links (OpenStreetMap) open another site with its own accessibility.
- PDFs or attachments are sent only on request; their accessibility varies.
- English pages are translations for information; the Dutch version is authoritative for legal text — see privacy policy.
If you hit a concrete barrier, email the page URL and what you tried — we will suggest a workaround or fix.
6. Physical access to the studio
The entrance is at Grote Bickersstraat 74 in the Haarlemmerbuurt. From Amsterdam Centraal it is about a twelve-minute walk via Haarlemmerdijk; bus 22 serves Haarlemmerdijk (Bickersgracht stop). The entrance is on Grote Bickersstraat, next to the courtyard bike parking. The building has no large lift; the studio is on ground level or via a single step — ask ahead if you use a wheelchair, walker or heavy flight cases.
Opening hours: Monday–Friday 10:00–22:00, Saturday 11:00–18:00, closed Sunday. Sessions outside these hours on request.. For band recording with up to 6 people we plan space and monitoring so everyone can follow the mix.
7. Feedback and contact
Report accessibility issues to Nikausync B.V. via [email protected] or +31 20 244 89 17. Include device, browser or assistive tech and the page. We confirm receipt and respond within about 2 business days with a plan or solution.
Service questions: guides and FAQ; legal context: legal notice.
8. Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our handling, you may complain to the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets or, where applicable, the dispute body mentioned in terms and conditions. Discrimination on grounds of disability may also be raised with the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights.
We prefer dialogue first: many issues are solved with a text fix, a phone explanation or an adjusted studio appointment.
